The Double Hung features two tilt in and sliding operable sashes making it the most popular and versatile window. This window can be combined with any style to create beautiful bow or bays or make your own statement by grouping or adding arches. Not only do the sash slide up and down, the top and bottom sash tilt inward for effortless in-home cleaning of the interior
and exterior sash of the window.
Construction Features:
- Sweeping sash lock systematically seals both sides at once
- Sash has generous recess located below insulated glass unit to channel water away
- Integral lift handle for strength and durability
- Increase your air flow by opening the top and bottom sash
- Top and bottom sashes are spring assisted for easy operation
- When vent stops are activated, vent stops allow the bottom sash to only open 2”
- Screen options: half and full screens are available
- All of our frames and sashes use fusion welding, which makes a more durable product

Grid patterns are placed in between the panes of glass. Patterns include diamond, colonial, prairie and Queen Anne prairie. Flat and contour grids are available for all window styles.
